Review

This game takes the simple function of wrapping around the room upon leaving the border, and applies it as if it's a revolutionary new feature like the holes in Portal. The scary part is, it does feel that way.

Graphics: The graphics are simple, but fitting to the game. There are a few tutorial graphics, but they don't stand out much. The level menu was nice, and so were the backgrounds.

Sound: There is one long, boring song playing throughout the whole game unless you turn it off. Sound effects are mostly just your character yelping as he dies, and a few other dull noises.

Gameplay: The gameplay is what makes this game shine. By jumping though various spikes, pitfalls, and closing walls, it makes a great adventure platformer by itself, but with the ability to wrap to the other side of the room, and the intricate and difficult traps lining both sides, the game becomes a puzzle as well. Suppose you're standing on th right side of a room divided in two, and there is a ledge above you too high to reach. Now suppose the is another ledge on the other side of the room between you and the higher one. An easy puzzle right? Well what if there was also a wall of spikes blocking your path? And what if the only other exit to your room was a door whose key you didn't yet have? The level design in this game is, in my opinion, perfect. Fast, challenging, fun, and with plenty of secret paths and alternate routes. Even a bit of irony in some puzzles I failed

Story: A decent story, I was mostly just glad it had one. It didn't interfere with the gameplay much.

Interface: the engine was solid, there weren't any attacks or special moves trough the first time through the game, but there are cheats and unlockables.

One thing I didn't like so much was the sheer difficulty of some puzzles, but I eventually got past them and beat the game in about a full hour, although there were many features I didn't even touch, like secret levels, a jumping powerup, and cheat codes.

A very addicting game, Good Work Rutger Bevers. Did I forget to mention the level design was pure genius?
